A tribute to his guitar hero, John Masino will pay homage to the great Jimi Hendrix. The first concert he ever went to was Jimi Hendrix at the Dane County Coliseum on May 2nd, 1970. The “Are you Experienced” album was released May 12, 1967 and made a lasting impression. In 1999, John became a finalist in the Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition and performed in the finals at B.B. Kings Club in Memphis, TN along with about 18 others from all over the the United States. This show at the Red Rooster will cover a lot of Jimi’s well known as well as some obscure songs.
