Our Story

Tim Payne, Paul Schwoerer, Dan Resnick, and Jesse Steinberg are musicians who frequented a club called the Knuckle Down Saloon for many years. This venue thrived as a bastion for the Blues in Wisconsin for a decade. Unfortunately, its doors were forced to close due to the pandemic in 2020. After some major renovations, these new owners have resurrected the joint. The Red Rooster is an inclusive music venue which is dedicated to providing some of the best entertainment in the region. Although frequently hosting Blues artists (and a Blues jam nearly every Thursday night), you can catch a variety of genres of music and other entertainment at the Red Rooster.
