Combo Noir was founded in 2018 by genre-hopping vocalist Anna Purnell (Yid Vicious, Forward! Marching Band, Intemperance Collective, Dixie Sizzlers, etc.) and New Orleans transplant, pianist Adam St. Reiff. Drawing from varied, eclectic, and soulful repertoires, the band is a great accompaniment for everything from hootchie-cootchie dancing to staring pensively into your third martini.

The Red Rooster hosts a Blues Jam nearly every Thursday! Musician sign-ups begin at 6 and continue all night. This week’s host is Madison blues legend James Earl Tate, host of blues jams across five decades! The house band starts at 7 and jammers are invited up soon afterward. Professional and semi-pro players are encouraged!
