Perry Weber & the DeVilles

Perry Weber – guitarist for the Jimmys – revisits his blues roots at this special Friday event! Weber’s sensibility is drawn to the wicked sting of early Johnny “Guitar” Watson (and other West Coast players), but he was also a special friend to Hubert Sumlin – guitarist for Howlin’ Wolf – and through their conversations and visits, Weber learned invaluable tips and heard fantastic stories. In addition to Sumlin, Weber has shared the stage with a Who’s Who of Chicago and Wisconsin blues legends – from Jim Liban and Barrelhouse Chuck to Willie “Big Eyes” Smith and Pinetop Perkins.
