Matthew James & the Ramble

One of the favorites of Red Rooster fans and staff, Matthew James and the Ramble play contemporary country music without Nashville pretentiousness or predictability. Based in southern Wisconsin, their live sets take the audience on a ramble through the greats of country music, from classics (Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson) to current stars (Luke Combs, Jason Aldean) to up-and-comers (Ashley Ray, Cody Johnson). They also attract some of the top “ringer” vocalists as audience members, dissolving the walls between performers and patrons.
